A year or so ago, I heard Professor Benton of Oxford saying that efficacy, that used to be calculated correctly, was being calculated incorrectly. Does this matter? Well, yes, because it is only worth taking a medicine/treatment if it is efficacious.
Today, I found that Joel Smalley explains much better, what Prof. Benton was talking about.

I did not want to use any picture of any particular medication. This just happened to be on my screen when I looked for a picture for the top of this blog. I’ve called it, “Efficacy-Politics-Maybe”… There is no implication and I certainly do not know if these people at WEF know anything at all about incorrect calculation of efficacy.
